Three Bison For Sale - SOLDThree bison for sale from the Middleton Bison Ranch in Pleasanton, Texas. All were sired by "Little Joe" the 2008 Texas Bison Association Champion Bull Calf. Little Joe originally came from Joe Adam's ranch near Austin, Texas. He got right to work here as you can see by the birth dates of the animals we have for sale. "Joey" is a 27 month old bull. Born October 26, 2010. Very well mannered and looks great. "Josey" is a 20 month old heifer. Born May 9, 2011 to one of our older cows, very pretty. "Joe Joe" is a 9 month old bull calf. Born April 28, 2012, grain fed with good weight. Our herd is small, eight head is all. We have always kept them on reasonably small pasture and have always grain fed to keep them used to people. We feed and talk to them every day. These are not "production" animals. They are worked only when it's time to cut out a calf for sale. Nanette and I refer to them as Yard Art. When you only have a few they really become family. We only need one bull and do not want to consider in-breeding or line-breeding so these all need to go to a good home. We will be looking for a quality 2 year old heifer or 2 from another blood line to introduce into our herd when these are sold so perhaps we can consider some trade. I wish I could list 3 pictures, but only showing the 27 month old bull. Love to sell all to the same buyer. Price is for all. Price: $4,800

Bull DancerBorn on the Jim Wooder Ranch in Okla., Bull Dancer won 3rd place Bull Calf at the OKBA Sale in Nov. 2005. Competition was strong with Jim Nance, Gerald Parsons, Jim Wooder and some of them other OK boys! He began breeding when he was just two-years-old in a herd of five heifers (3 of them same age as him). He produced three calves in 2007, three calves in 2008, four in 2009, and I'm hoping for eight calves this year! Price: $4,500
